Saket is a busy residential area of south Delhi known for its large shopping complex, but it is also a short ride from some of the city’s oldest monuments in Mehrauli. That combination gives Myra members two very different kinds of first date within a few kilometres: a comfortable, air-conditioned coffee in summer, or a walk through ruins on a pleasant winter afternoon. Members in Saket often see introductions from Malviya Nagar, Sheikh Sarai, Chhattarpur and Vasant Kunj. Because many people here commute to Gurugram for work, weekend plans are common. Myra measures distance between neighbourhood centres, so set a limit that matches how far you are willing to go on a Saturday. The Mehrauli area also has heritage walks led by local groups, which can be a fun second meeting once you know each other a little better. In the cooler months, a picnic-style afternoon among the Mehrauli ruins is a favourite, while in May and June most people sensibly move their plans indoors to the air-conditioned cafés around the malls. Nearby Said-ul-Ajaib and the Garden of Five Senses offer flowerbeds, sculptures and terraces that change with each season, and the latter often hosts weekend festivals.
