Besant Nagar is a short auto ride from the Indira Nagar MRTS station. Buses run to the beach, and cab apps are reliable; parking near the beach is difficult on weekend evenings.

- The beach is busy until about 10 pm, then empties quickly. Move to a café before it gets quiet.
- Currents are strong. Do not go into the sea, even if others do.
